Leadership Lesson # 39
There are two ways of brining down a mammoth, tying is legs with a strong rope or tie a very fragile thread around his mind. Both will do the job,but the later will prove to be way more effective. The best thing about the whole propoganda around is is not it's ability to deceive the people into believing what's true and what's not regardless of the innate nature of things. In fact, the most powerful use of this machinery is to take out the belief inside people about being able to do anything about it or stop it altogether. The most common belief in the world amongst the masses,(which is the real might of democracy) everywhere in every country, city and town is the thought, and belief that the one thing they can never do is to change the way things are. And it flattens the basic curve of thought as well as ability of the future generations and their own selves. It's like a blue whale being pulled by a salmon in the middle of the Pacific. It's a duty not a favor, a necessity and not a luxury for thought leaders to start breaking this thread around the minds of people. In every single way they can. That's thought leadership basics.
